The Office of Student Affairs (OSA)
The Office of Student Affairs (OSA) is committed to the holistic development of students by creating a supportive, inclusive, and engaging campus environment that promotes academic success, leadership, responsibility, and personal growth. The office serves as a central hub for student engagement, welfare, and development through collaborative partnerships and student-centered programs. 1. Collaboration with Student Organizations The OSA works closely with accredited academic and non academic student organizations to foster active participation, unity, and shared governance. Through guidance, accreditation, and capacity-building initiatives, the office empowers organizations to plan meaningful activities that align with PCU values and contribute to campus life. 2. Student Leadership OSA develops and strengthens student leadership by providing training, mentoring, and opportunities for experiential learning. Leadership programs are designed to cultivate ethical decision-making, accountability, teamwork, and service-oriented leadership among student leaders and emerging student advocates. 3. Student Development Focused on holistic growth, the OSA supports students’ personal, social, emotional, and moral development. Programs and services are structured to enhance life skills, resilience, self-awareness, and civic responsibility, preparing students for both academic success and post-graduation life. 4. Student Activities OSA plans, coordinates, and supervises a wide range of co-curricular and extracurricular activities that enrich the student experience. These activities promote creativity, cultural appreciation, wellness, and community engagement while encouraging students to explore interests beyond the classroom. 5. Enforcement of Discipline OSA ensures the fair and consistent implementation of institutional policies and codes of conduct. Through due process, guidance, and corrective measures, the office promotes accountability, respect, and a safe learning environment while emphasizing education and personal responsibility. 6. Other Student Services In addition, OSA supports student welfare through advocacy, counseling referrals, grievance handling, community service initiatives, and collaboration with academic and administrative units. OSA remains committed to inclusivity, student well-being, and continuous improvement in student services.
