Title: Philippine Christian University Places Second Among the Top Performing Schools in the 2026 Environmental Planners Licensure Examination

The Philippine Christian University (PCU) was recognized by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and the Professional Regulatory Board of Environmental Planning during the Recognition of Academic Excellence and Oath-Taking Ceremony for New Environmental Planners held on 13 July 2026 at The Manila Hotel.
PCU received a Plaque of Recognition after placing second among the Top Performing Schools in the May 2026 Environmental Planners Licensure Examination, achieving a 95.24% institutional passing rate. The University produced 300 newly licensed environmental planners, accounting for more than half of all successful examinees from higher education institutions nationwide. PCU also produced five board topnotchers from its Master’s in Management major in Environmental Planning (MMEP) program: EnP Mariel Mae M. Javelona (Top 3), EnP Brian Kevin B. Bruselas (Top 4), EnP Kenneth G. Cunanan (Top 5), EnP Gerard Paul V. Tulod (Top 6), and EnP Judie Ann E. Manipol (Top 8).
Receiving the Plaque of Recognition on behalf of the University were Dr. Jovertlee C. Pudan, Program Head of the Master in Management (MM) Program, and Dr. Junifen F. Gauuan, University President.
The ceremony recognized the country’s top-performing higher education institutions and board topnotchers before the oath-taking of the newly licensed environmental planners, celebrating excellence in environmental planning education and professional achievement. Representing the new professionals, EnP Teodorico M. Collano Jr. delivered the response on behalf of the successful examinees. In his message, he emphasized the responsibility of environmental planners to uphold professional integrity, promote sustainable development, and contribute meaningfully to nation-building through sound environmental planning and
governance.
The University extends its heartfelt congratulations to its newest Environmental Planners, the board topnotchers, and the Master in Management major in Environmental Planning (MMEP) program for this exceptional accomplishment.
