DASMARIÑAS, CAVITE — The college journey was never easy, let alone supporting yourself to reach your dreams. The College of Business Administration and Accountancy celebrates the remarkable achievements of BS Real Estate Management alumna, Ms. Joy Olga Paciones, who has inspired the entire PCU Community after placing Rank 9 in the July 2026 Real Estate Appraiser Licensure Examination (REALE), three months after passing the April 2026 Real Estate Brokers Licensure Examination.
Hailing from Quezon, Palawan, at the young age of 14, Ms. Pacioness started working to support her own education. In an exclusive interview with The Summit Express, she shared her determination and resilience that helped her reach her goals.
While completing her degree, she managed a full-time job and two part-time jobs despite a demanding academic schedule. There were times she walked into her classes exhausted and with little to no sleep; whenever circumstances challenged her spirit, she reminded herself, “Be persistent for you to get it, be consistent for you to keep it, and be grateful to attract more of it.”
Despite the odds, she consistently ranked first in her department, earning university honors and Dean’s List recognition. She graduated as Batch 2025 salutatorian and earned Summa Cum Laude.
Her story reflects the reality of many of our students who juggle real-world struggles while pursuing their academic milestones. Ms. Paciones hopes that her story encourages her fellow students to dream with persistence and faith. “Do it scared, do it alone, do it lonely, and do it even when your hands are trembling,” she said.
The PCU Community is immensely proud of you, Ms. Paciones!
