Private: A WELL-SPENT SUMMER
Apparently totally engrossed, 11 elementary pupils learn to build, program, and control robots during the Robotics Summer Workshop held at Philippine Christian University – Elementary School Department (PCU-ESD) last June 24- 28. Creotec Philippines Inc., in coordination with PCU-ESD, came up with a number of fun-filled activities during the week-long event, leaving kids asking for more. Their demand was such that the organizers decided to do a repeat on July 8-12, 2019. “This is a summer activity that
enhanced my child’s creativity and intelligence,” said Mrs. Jenn Beguas, mother of Justin, one of the workshop participants. “It was a time well spent.” Mrs. Beguas thanked the PCU-ESD for initiating the “creobotics” training, which, according to PCU-ESD principal, Dr. Lenalee Borromeo, “gave new skills to the school’s pupils. It’s awesome to see how small pupils could easily grasp the principles of robotics.”
